Well, I must say that a thought of showing up anywhere wearing a completely see thru bikini really scares me, and I admire the ladies brave and confident enough to do this. Ok, I understand that wearing a see thru bikini requires a more private setting, like a party by the pool or a sensual night swim with that special somebody but… I’m a big, shy coward- I admit!

I’ve been thinking about see thru bikinis a lot lately because a friend of mine got one for herself and for her boyfriend. They are planning a romantic weekend at one great, high end resort and she wants to  make it a weekend they’ll both remember for a long time. To be quite honest, that’s not a bad idea at all, and the more I’m thinking about it, the more I’m convinced I won’t allow myself to be so shy for too long. Just imagine that- A private, heated, indoor pool, just the two of you and a bottle of chilled champagne! Tempting, right?

Most people say see thru bikinis are for those with perfect bodies but I think that has more to do with confidence and courage. The friends I mentioned before are fun, dynamic and adventurous couple but they are just normal, everyday people. And they are not letting any small imperfections stand in their way. I like that very much, that’s an example we should all follow.

I’ve did a bit of a research and, surprisingly, I found out that there is a whole bunch of companies that produce these bikinis. And that means only one thing- see thru bikinis are a wanted piece of swimwear! A see thru bikini, or an “invisible bikini” as some refer to it, is mostly made from mesh and, from what I’ve seen, most of them are a classic, triangle top style. There are two thong types available a regular one and, for the extremely brave ones, a micro thong. And, by the way,  I must admit that I kind of like this black bikini! Maybe I will dare myself to try it on after all.
